Viola Associate Professor at Kalaidos University in Switzerland, Dimitri combines pedagogy with intensive artistic activities including chamber music with Natalia Gutman, Quartetto di Cremona and Aviv Quartet.
Graduated from the Colleges of Music in Geneva and Hamburg, Dimitri began his professional career in leading European orchestras such as Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under Maestro Fabio Luisi; NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg (Elbphilharmonie Orchestra) under Maestro Christoph Eschenbach; DSO Berlin under Maestros Vladimir Ashkenazy and Kent Nagano; Orchestre du Capitol de Toulouse under Maestros Jaap van Zweden and Tugan Sokhiev, finally - Palau de les Arts-Opera of Valencia under Maestros Lorin Maazel and Zubin Mehta.
Founder of Alma Musica, an agency for music education in Europe, for over 15 years Dimitri has helped more than 100 young gifted musicians from all over the world to continue their studies in prestigious Institutions of Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.
Since 2013, as an artist agent, he has been representing worldwide well-known artists such as Natalia Gutman, Elisso Virsaladze, Olga Peretyatko, Ricardo Casero, and Mykola Diadiura.
Recently, Dimitri has acquired a new passion in expertise of fine string instruments as well as in luthiery that he has started learning under a renown restorer Alexandre Snitkovski in Lyon.
